Mercure Paris Val De Fontenay Hotel, Fontenay-sous-Bois

The hotel is a great option with spacious and well-equipped rooms, but the service can be improved. The location is convenient, although the dining experience could be more varied.

The hotel offered spacious rooms, nicely decorated though some areas needed repair. There were comfortable quarters with spacious showers, perfect for a stay with a companion. However, the service was a big letdown due to rude and unprofessional behavior; this might deter me from staying again.

The hotel rooms are en-suite, soundproofed, air-conditioned, and equipped with minibar, telephone, TV with satellite channels & cable channels, although I was a bit disappointed by the empty fridge with rust and the big shower gel with a bit of mold on the cap. The rooms were clean, but there was a sense of something wet that didn't quite dry. Service was friendly, especially from Crestine in the breakfast room. The location is very close to a subway station, but the area felt a little unsafe walking around. The dining had eggs, sausages, meats, and cheeses for breakfast but could have been more varied. Overall, the hotel is comfortable and satisfactory with a Mediterranean food option.
